Co-operative Funeralcare helps to light up Eccleshill

December 04, 2014

The Co-operative Funeralcare, on Norman Lane in Bradford, has donated £300 to Eccleshill Village Steering Group to help them fix the Christmas lights on the Mechanics Institute Centre. The funeral home donated the money in time for the big village Christmas light switch on last week.

Claire O'Neill, Vice Treasurer of the Eccleshill Village Steering Group, said:

“We are very grateful to The Co-operative Funeralcare for their generous donation. The icicle feature has always decorated the front of the community centre but was faulty last year and so couldn’t be used but it was really missed as people can see it for miles around.”
