Co-operative Group Governance webinar Thursday 29 May 2014: Register your place today
A message from Ursula Lidbetter, The Co-operative Group Chair to all members and Group colleagues
Following the unanimous approval at our AGM of the Group Board's resolution on governance reform, we have now begun the process of further debate and consultation.
As part of that process, at 6.30pm on Thursday 29 May, you will have the opportunity to put your questions to Alistair Asher, Group General Counsel and member of the Group Executive. This online session will focus on ensuring that any changes to our constitution will continue to protect us against the possibility of demutualisation. In particular, it will consider possible options and invite input from members on the approach that should be adopted.
In order to view the webinar you need to register, which also allows you to pre-submit a question to Alistair Asher. You will also be able to ask questions live on the night.
Once you have submitted the form you should receive an email confirming your attendance and the URL to view the Webinar.
Please be advised that you will need flash player installed on your computer to view this Webinar.
We are committed to giving members and colleagues every opportunity to understand the issues around our governance reform and to participate in the reform process. There will be further webinars in the coming weeks as well as other opportunities for discussion.
