The Co-operative Group shortlisted for Design Patron Award 2011
The Co-operative Group has been shortlisted for the North West Business Insider Design Patron Award 2011 for the NOMA development.
This is the first time the category - commissioned by Insider and the Royal Institute of British Architects - has been included in the North West Property Awards. It has been established to recognise and reward an individual or organisation that has, in the last year, demonstrated a commitment to improving the North West’s built environment by putting good quality, sustainable design at the very forefront of their thinking.
The Insider Property Awards will take place on 9 June at Manchester Central, and are preceded by a Business of Property conference at the Bridgewater Hall. David Pringle, Director of Investment & Property Strategy with The Co-operative Estates, will be a keynote speaker at this year’s event.
David said: “Since its inception it has been our intention that the design and build of our new head office and the surrounding 20 acres that make up NOMA will be exceptional in every way, providing the ideal area in which to work, live, shop and relax. It’s great for all the team that the work to date has been recognised by this nomination, and we wait to see whether we are successful against some strong competition.”
