Welcome to Green Schools Revolution Week 2013!

18/03/2013 by Green Schools

Monday 18th March is the first day of Green Schools Revolution Week 2013 - a whole week of eco activities in our schools UK-wide.

Last year saw pupils across the UK digging, planting, saving energy and water, being creative, and having fun. This year Green Schools Revolution Week is happening in even more schools across the UK from 18th – 22nd March, and we’d love you and your pupils to take part.

All our registered schools have been sent a pack full of lively ideas for focussing on sustainability issues throughout the week.

We have prizes up for grabs every day ranging from posters of British birds for the classroom to water butts for school grounds. We are looking forward to hearing from lots of our schools this week and to featuring snippets and photos of your green activities on our site.

All our schools will be receiving daily emails with a different green focus every day – today is Energy Monday and we’re going through to Fairtrade Friday! You can find more activities and resources such as running a craft fair and making a snake draft excluder.

Have a marvellous Green Schools Revolution Week!
