Welcome back to the second year of Green Schools Revolution! We're thrilled that over 5000 schools are now taking part, and to announce a range of inspiring new resources as well as exciting trips are being launched this year.
The year ahead will be see competitions, the second Green Schools Revolution Week in March 2013, the grand opening of our dedicated education centre in Cambridgeshire and much more for you and your students to get involved with.
We've extended the trips on offer this year – more Primary pupils across the country can learn about where their food originates on one of our farm trips – click here for locations and booking details. October will see the grand opening of our fantastic new education centre near March, Cambridgeshire. This new site will bring Green Schools Revolution to life for both primary and secondary schools and will showcase all our main themes in one exciting location. Click here for Primary and here for Secondary
Another major addition this year is our resources about Fair Enterprise and Co-operation. Using real life case studies about tea, coffee, cocoa, blueberries and bananas, your pupils will learn how Fairtrade is making a difference for farmers and workers in Panama, Chile, Colombia, Kenya and the Dominican Republic. With quizzes, recipes, assembly ideas, creative encouragement and evaluation forms, we've provided everything you need to foster enterprise and responsibility with a global dimension! You can download the resources for Primary here and for Secondary here.
Enjoy exploring the updated site for all our new resources - we'll keep in touch over the year and do check back regularly for the latest news, resources and events.
