What a creative bunch our Green Schools Revolution students are!
We always knew we had plenty of green pioneers out there, but when we asked Schools registered with the Green Revolution to take part in a competition to design a charity Christmas card, we unleashed a lot of artistic talent too.
Our judging panel had the incredibly difficult, but overall very enjoyable, task of selecting just four winning designs from over 1,500 entries. They were really impressed by the fine display of trees, presents, snowmen and Santas – from nursery to sixth form there’s some real talent and originality out there.
A huge festive congratulations goes to our four winners who will see their designs on sale in branches of The Co-operative Food nationwide in 2014. Proceeds from the card sales will go to Friends of the Earth, and the winners’ schools each gain £100 for their eco projects.
