Keeping you safe when you shop in our stores
Some of the restrictions are starting to be lifted, but please still be careful when you’re shopping. Find out the changes we’ve made so you can feel safe when visiting your local Co-op.
Your local store opening hours may be different to usual. Find your usual opening times here and call ahead if in doubt.
We ask customers in England, Scotland and Wales to respect people’s space, while in Northern Ireland 2m social distancing is still in place. Look out for the signs in store to guide you.
In England, we support the continued use of face coverings in all our stores. While in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, customers must still wear a face covering, although we realise it’s not possible for everyone.
Changes to your shop
We’ve made it easier for those staying at home to pay for and get their essentials delivered with our Community Shopping Scheme. If you’ve been instructed by the Government to stay home, you can purchase or top up our Community Shopping Card by calling 0800 029 4592. Friends, family or volunteers can use this to do your shopping in store.
Contactless card payments limits have been increased to £45, making it easier and safer to buy items.
Stay active and creative this summer
We’ve got dishes that’ll warm up colder evenings, and meals that’ll brighten up shortening evenings. Find fresh ideas for what you could serve up next.
Supporting local communities
Our new Co-op Membership gives a helping hand to you and your community
When Co-op Members buy selected Co-op branded products and services, we give 2p for every pound spent to local communities. This is split between the Local Community Fund and the Community Partnerships Fund.
