Keeping you safe when you shop in our stores
Coronavirus is still a threat to us all and we need to continue to take care. The changes we’ve made to the way you shop with us means you can pick up your essential items quickly, easily and safely.
Your local store opening hours may be different to usual. Find your usual opening times here and call ahead if in doubt.
Social distancing is here to stay for the time being. Look out for the signs in store and please shop with care.
Face coverings are now compulsory for customers and staff at our stores. If you’re able to do so then we’d ask you to wear one, although we realise it’s not possible for everyone.
Nothing matters more than the health and safety of you and our team members. Stores will aim to limit the number of customers in the store at any one time so it’s easier for customers to maintain distance, with traffic light systems in place at hundreds of our stores. Why not try Click and Collect to avoid queues in the colder weather?
Changes to your shop
We still have a dedicated shopping hour for our vulnerable customers, those who care for them and our brilliant NHS workers. The hour is 8am to 9am Monday to Saturday and from 10am to 11am on Sundays.
Contactless card payments limits have been increased to £45, making it easier and safer to buy items.
We’ve made it easier for those staying at home to pay for and get their essentials delivered with our Community Shopping Scheme. If you’ve been instructed by the Government to stay home, you can purchase or top up our Community Shopping Card by calling 0800 029 4592. Friends, family or volunteers can use this to do your shopping in store.
