Remembering loved ones at Christmas
We all know how difficult a time Christmas can be if you have lost someone close to you. It can seem that everyone around you is having a great time celebrating and looking forward to the New Year, while you are looking back and remembering those you have lost.
This year we know will be very different for everyone, but we’re still here to support bereaved families. Instead of our usual memorial services that would be held at our funeral homes, this year we’re hosting a virtual memorial service.
Virtual memorial service
Join us online on Saturday 5th December at 3pm for a special remembrance service that will bring us together to reflect and remember our loved ones.
The service will start with a welcome to everyone who has joined us across the nation, before taking you to your local memorial service where there will be guest speakers, candle lighting, singing and a special performance from our Co-op choir.
During the service we’d also like to share as many of your memorial messages and photos of loved ones as we can. You will be able to upload a message and a photo should you wish to do so once you’ve registered for the event.
If you’d like to join our virtual memorial service, please register here.
Many of our funeral homes will also have Memorial Trees. Because of current restrictions we can’t invite people to our funeral homes, but if you would like a tag on one of our trees, please phone your local funeral home and they will write one on your behalf.
Whether you want to join our virtual memorial service or place a message on one of our Memorial Trees, all are welcome, whether you’ve arranged a funeral with us or not.
