Create something special

We work with families to put special, personal touches into their loved ones funeral arrangements. Here are some examples of unique tributes we've arranged recently.

Condiment crazy

When ketchup super-fan Lauren sadly passed away aged just 39, her family knew that her favourite condiment had to feature at her funeral. As well as a ketchup shaped floral arrangment, everyone who attended the funeral also received a sachet of ketchup in their order of service.

Land Rover hearse

Land Rover Hearse for a military hero

73-year-old army veteran Mark, from Darlington, had served over 50 years in the military so it was important to his family that his final farewell represented a life of service. Having worked with vehicles throughout his career, the Land Rover being one of his favourites, it felt right that the Land Rover hearse was chosen as Mark’s “final ride”.

A crane cortege

A spectacular funeral procession proudly led by Finlay Macpherson in Grangemouth for his sister-in-law, Mary. Mary's cortege was made up of a huge crane owned by family friends and all the vehicles from Reid's School of Motoring, which Mary set up nearly 20 years ago

Chocoholic challenge

The team in Long Eaton challenged their local florist, Greenfinger's, to create a special tribute for a Cadbury's chocolate fan - we think they did a fabulous job.

Earlsfield's extra mile

Blake, Danny, Peter and Frank from our funeral home in Earlsfield went the extra mile for a family whose loved one was a fan of motorbikes. She never got to ride one, so they decided to provide this special escort for her final journey.

The force is strong in Johnstone

Allan from our funeral home in Johnstone went over to the dark side to help a family create the perfect send-off for their loved one.

A fuss-free farewell

A family in Redcar loved the idea of our essential funeral as they said their dad didn't want a lot of fuss. They told our funeral arranger, Gavin, that their dad always said "just pop me in the back of my van" and were amazed when he turned around and said "why don't you?" It was the perfect tribute.

Cookie heading the procession

When funeral arranger, Arlene, was speaking with a family about their loved one's funeral, they mentioned how much their little dog Cookie was going to miss them. Arlene suggested that Cookie be part of the funeral procession, and she walked nicely alongside Chloe the Funeral Director. She even wore a pink ribbon on her collar to match the rest of the funeral team.

A 'cushty' send off

What's the perfect way to say goodbye to someone who was the biggest Only Fools and Horses fan? Of course, it's our specialist hearse modelled on the famous Reliant Robin from the classic show. Arranged here by our fantastic team in Polegate.

Tony's motorbike funeral

It wouldn't be a funeral for Tony if there weren't motorbikes. From funeral plans to funeral services, we make it personal every step of the way.

Funeral music chart

As funerals can be personalised to reflect the life of the person who has died, families are opting for personal favourites or contemporary songs to be played. Music can be light-hearted, sometimes even humorous or it could even be played by a live band or musician.

Trustpilot review

A 5* review for a super send off

"My brother recently passed away. He was a huge Marvel/super heroes fan. The team at Eye were absolutely amazing. The pall bearers dressed as my brother's favourite characters. The celebrant, Lisa, even collected and returned the outfits.

"Thank you to Danny and his team for making such a heartbreaking event a real celebration of my brother's life."
