Terms & Conditions

Participation instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating in this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Please retain a copy for your information.

The personal data of entrants is used by the Co-operative Group Limited for the purpose of conducting its membership card scheme and at all times in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Co-operative Group Limited’s privacy policy (available at https://www.coop.co.uk/terms/privacy-notice). From time to time, the Co-operative Group Limited may share personal data of members with their agents/representatives to assist with administering the promotion and contacting entrants (as necessary) and/or fulfilling the prize(s).

1 - Eligibility: This promotion is only open to GB residents who are members and employee members of Co-operative Group Limited (Co-op) aged 18 years or over as of their date of entry. Employees of Heineken UK (The Promoter), it’s agents and anyone professionally connected with this promotion are exempt from winning. Residents in Northern Ireland are excluded. Temporary membership card holders are automatically excluded from this promotion.

2 - How to enter:

2.1 - Purchase an INCH’S 4x440ml pack (subject to availability) and swipe or scan your Co-op membership card at checkout in a participating Co-op store or online at www.coop.co.uk using membership number during the Promotional Period for automatic entry into the prize draw. Service is at the discretion of the checkout staff. We may ask the winner to provide proof of age. Retain purchase receipt as proof of purchase will be required to validate win. Online deliveries must be made prior to 23:59 on 24.9.24.

2.2 - Purchase necessary. Only one entry per purchase. Entries must be made personally. Entries made through agents/third parties, bulk entries or automated entries are invalid.

3 - Promotional Period: The Promotional period will run from 00:01 04.09.2024 to 23:59 24.09.2024.

4 - Prizes:

4.1 - There are 50 prizes to be won. Each prize consists of: Cocktail kits including 1 x 440ml Inch’s Cider, 1 x cocktail barware kit, 2 x Inch’s half pint glasses, 1 x 200ml lemon juice, 1 x 500ml bottle of elderflower cordial, 1 x 200ml bottle of prosecco, and 1 x recipe booklet.

4.2 - No cash or other alternative to the prize in whole or in part. No person can win more than 1 prize. 

4.3 - The Winners of the Prize will be the first 50 valid entries drawn by The Co-op at random via a secure, entirely automated independently verified computer system from all eligible entries on 26.09.2024. The Winners of the Prize will be drawn by The Co-op at random via a secure, entirely automated independently verified computer system from all eligible entries. The Co-op will share the winners’ details with the Promoter’s and the winners will be notified by email within TWO (2) weeks of the end of the Promotional Period. The Promoter will use the address registered on the winner's Co-op membership account to notify them. The prize will be sent to the winner within TWO (2) weeks of fulfilment being arranged via recorded delivery. The personal data of the winners will only be used by the Promoter for the purpose of administering the prize and at all times in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (available at www.heineken.co.uk/legal-hub/heineken-brands-privacy-policy.

4.4 - The Winners of the Prize must respond within seven (7) days of being notified of the win. If a Winner does not respond within such timeframe, then the Winner's Prize will be forfeited and the Promoter shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.

4.5 - If a Winner rejects their Prize or the entry is in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the Winner's Prize will be forfeited and the Promoter shall be entitled to select another Winner.

4.6 - Winners’ first name and county will be available from 27.09.2024 to 23.12.2024 from ukcustomerservice@inchscider.co.uk. If the winner does not consent to such information being disclosed it should notify the Promoter when the winner is notified of the prize win.

5 - General:

5.1 - The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and to refuse to honour a prize and/or refuse further participation and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of entry. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions, and these will be binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

5.2 - The prize is not transferrable, exchangeable, or refundable and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. The Promoter reserves the right to reclaim the prize if it is transferred.

5.3 - The Promoter is not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions.

5.4 - The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend this promotion due to events or circumstances arising beyond its control.

5.5 - The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, damaged, incomplete, illegible or delayed entries, such entries will be void. Proof of scanning membership card is not proof of receipt and Promoter does not accept any responsibility for the non receipt or the late receipt of message due to system failure or for any associated costs to entrants. No entries submitted via any other means will be accepted. The Promoter cannot guarantee uninterrupted or secure access to the entry route. Any mechanical reproduction or automated entries is prohibited, and any use of such automated devices will cause disqualification.

5.5 - The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any of the social media platforms where the post promoting the promotion is featured. None of the social media platforms listed above are responsible to entrants in respect of any aspect of this promotion.

5.6 - All taxes (including without limitation national & local taxes) in connection with any prize & the reporting consequence thereof, are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.

5.7 - These rules and any dispute or difference arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. The Promoter and each entrant irrevocably agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales over any claim or matter arising under or in connection with these rules or the legal relationships established by this agreement.
