It’s important to declare all your medical conditions. We try to cover all medical conditions and to offer a quote to all customers.
In the unlikely event that we can’t cover your medical condition, we will still be able to cover you to travel, but not for any claims relating to the declined condition.
However, if you did not tell us about all your conditions, then the Consumer Insurance (Disclosure & Representations) Act 2012 (‘CIDRA’) will apply.
This is the law that sets out how we should handle such claims. We’ll work out how much we would have charged you for the policy if you’d told us about all your conditions when you bought the policy.
We’ll then settle your claim proportionately. For example, if you paid £50 for your policy but we would have charged you £100, we’d pay 50% of any claim.
