Step 1: Using the scissors with parental supervision, carefully cut out the bottom side of the cornflakes box.

Step 2: To create the body, glue a white A4 paper to either side of the cornflake box. For the sides and top, cut a white A4 paper to size and glue them on so that your cornflakes box is fully covered in paper.

Step 3: Use your markers on the white paper to design your robot body by drawing on buttons, lights and switches.

Step 4: To create the arms, use the remainder of the paper to cover the bottom side you cut out in step 1 and cut the strip in half. Cut a strip the size of the width of each arm into the sides of the robot body and insert each strip to attach the arms. Use your markers to design your robot arms.

Step 5: Use a tin can for the head. Make sure the empty tin is completely clean and peel the label off entirely. Using a black marker, draw on the eyes and the mouth and glue the can on top of your box to create your robot.
