Mourvedre is the grape used to make the famous wines of Bandol on the southern French Coast and was historically rather underused elsewhere. Fortunately the excellent Catherine Delaunay from the dynamic firm of Badet Clement recognised the grapes potential to produce splendid wines from other areas too. She has crafted an award-winning wine which is rich, textured like dark chocolate and rammed full of blueberry and damson notes
