Ingredients
- 150g Co-op spaghetti
- 80g broccoli, chopped
- 1 tbsp Co-op olive oil
- 2 rashers Co-op British smoked rindless streaky bacon, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp black peppercorns, crushed
- 60g Co-op Parmigiano Reggiano, finely grated
Method
- Cook the spaghetti according to the pack instructions
- Add the broccoli 3 mins before the end of the cooking time
- Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a frying pan over a medium heat, then fry the bacon and garlic for 5 mins until browned
- Add the pepper and warm through
- Tip the bacon mixture into a large bowl, then add the cheese
- Drain the spaghetti, reserving the water
- Add the reserved water to the cheese and bacon mixture, a little at a time, until you have a light sauce
- Toss the spaghetti and broccoli through the sauce, then divide between 2 plates to serve
