  • 40g Co-op milk chocolate (Fairtrade)
  • 15g flaked almonds
  • 1 tsp Co-op unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp Co-op clear honey
  • 2 Co-op Irresistible buttermilk crumpets
  • 6 glacé cherries


  1. Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of simmering water, making sure the base doesn’t touch the surface
  2. Meanwhile, dry fry the flaked almonds for 1 minute until golden, then set aside
  3. Add the butter and honey to the pan and gently melt Fry the crumpets, holes facing down, for 2 mins or until they start to turn golden and sticky
  4. Remove from the pan and sprinkle over the toasted almonds, along with the glacé cherries, chopped into small pieces
  5. Drizzle over the melted chocolate then dive in
