Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsp Co-op 3 fruit marmalade
  • 4 Co-op Irresistible chilli bangers
  • 150g Co-op self raising flour
  • 1 tbsp Co-op olive oil
  • ¼ tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp Co-op semi-skimmed milk
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds
  • 4 x metal skewers, or wooden skewers pre-soaked for 30 mins

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200C/fan 180C/Gas 6
  2. Mix together the sweet chilli sauce and marmalade, and brush over the sausages
  3. Sift the flour into a bowl, add the olive oil and paprika, and stir well
  4. Add 100ml water 1 tbsp at a time, mixing until you have a soft dough
  5. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and divide into 4 equal pieces
  6. Roll each into a strip roughly 25cm long
  7. Push a skewer into each sausage (so it’s like a lollipop)
  8. Take a strip of dough and wrap it around the sausage
  9. Repeat with the others, brush with milk, and sprinkle with sesame seeds
  10. Bake on a non-stick tray for 30 mins, until the dough is golden and the sausages are cooked through
