Ingredients
- 450g Co-op British beef mince
- 1 Co-op British egg, beaten
- 40g Parmesan cheese, finely grated
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 515g jar Co-op tomato and chilli pasta sauce
- 400g spaghetti
Method
- Put the mince into a bowl, add the egg, half of the grated Parmesan and the oregano and mix together
- Divide the mixture into 12 meatballs and roll each ball in the flour
- Heat the oil in a large heavy based frying pan and fry the meatballs for about 5 minutes until golden all over
- Tip the jar of pasta sauce into the pan of meatballs, cover and leave to bubble over a gentle heat for 20 minutes
- Meanwhile, bring a large pan of water to the boil and cook the spaghetti following the pack instructions, then drain
- Serve the spaghetti with the meatballs and sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top
