
Pear cranachan

This dessert traditionally features raspberries, but this version makes the most of seasonal Co-op British pears

Ingredients
- 60g Co-op honey, raisin and almond granola
- 150ml Co-op double cream
- 1-2 tbsp Scotch whisky, to taste
- 2 ripe Co-op British pears, peeled, halved and cored
Method
- Gently dry fry the granola for 1-2 mins, then leave to cool
- Whip the cream into soft peaks, and swirl through the whisky and most of the granola
- Blend 3 of the pear halves until smooth, and thinly slice the remaining half
- Spoon the pear purée and cream into 2 dessert glasses, and gently swirl together
- To serve, scatter over the remaining granola, and arrange the pear slices on top
