Tandoori fish with spicy cous cous

  • 75g Co-op low fat Greek style yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 240g pack Co-op skinless cod fillets
  • 3 spring onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 red pepper, deseeded and finely chopped
  • 1 green chilli, deseeded and finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Co-op olive oil
  • 115g cous cous
  • 150g Co-op British cauliflower, broken into small florets
  • 1 tbsp coriander, chopped
  • 100g green beans, halved


  1. In a bowl, mix together the yogurt, turmeric, half the curry powder, lemon juice and ginger paste
  2. Add the fish and turn gently to coat
  3. Leave to marinate for 15 mins
  4. Meanwhile, gently fry the spring onion, red pepper and chilli in the oil for 4 mins
  5. Stir in the rest of the curry powder and cook, stirring, for 1 more minute
  6. Pour in 180ml hot water, bring to a simmer, then add the cous cous, cauliflower and coriander. Stir, cover, and set aside for 10 mins
  7. Meanwhile, grill the fish on a foil-lined tray for about 10 mins, until cooked through and flaky
  8. Cook the beans in boiling water for 5 mins
  9. Drain, stir into the cous cous, and serve with the fis
