Food coupons terms and conditions

The coupon is valid between the dates specified on it.

You can use the coupon to get the discount shown when you spend the specified amount, or more, as detailed on the printed coupon on groceries in a single transaction.

The coupon is only valid in the Co-op Food store named on the printed coupon or in any other Co-operative Group Food stores or outlets where Co-operative Group coupons are stated to be accepted.

Please remember, the coupon is not transferable or refundable and you can’t exchange it for cash. We’ll only accept one coupon per customer and you can only use one coupon per transaction.

If you are eligible to do so, you can use a Co-operative Group Limited colleague member card, an NUS Extra or NUS Apprentice Extra card, or a Young Scot card in the same transaction but the qualifying or minimum spend must be met following any discount applied for using your card.

You can’t use the coupon in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion.

There are also a few things that you can’t use the coupon to buy such as cigarettes, tobacco, fuel, first stage baby milk, postage stamps, gift cards and vouchers, PayPoint, newspaper deliveries, lottery tickets and scratchcards, mobile phone top-up cards, saving stamps or instore concessions. The discount applied to alcohol will not reduce the price below the minimum legal selling price. The coupon may be rejected for some transactions. The maximum discount applied will depend on the products purchased in the transaction. We only accept original coupons, so no photocopies please. Although we hope we never need to, we do have the right to stop anyone from using the coupon if we suspect that they’ve done something fraudulent or if we think that they’re in breach of these T&Cs or being dishonest. If we need to, we can cancel the offer shown on the printed coupon at any time without notice.
