Join us to explore Data Rights and Privacy on the first day of our Digital City Festival Fringe events
In a world awash with data, the ability to make the right decisions regarding the use of data becomes increasingly more complex and difficult. Over the last 10 months Open Data Manchester has been co-designing a Declaration on what good and bad practice with data looks like, and how Greater Manchester can become a UK leader in using data so that data and the services, products and decisions made with it can benefit all.
The session will introduce people to the Declaration and a number of scenarios where it could help.
Open Data Manchester CIC has been leading the way in open data practice since 2010. We advocate for responsible and intelligent data use for a fairer and more equitable society, and support individuals, communities and organisations to do so through a wide and varied programme.
