Book Club: Brit(ish): On Race, Identity and Belonging

Join us as we discuss and reflect on Brit(ish) by Afua Hirsch

Following on from our anti-racism book club in the summer and requests from our members we have organised another book club to discuss Brit(ish): On Race, Identity and Belonging by Afua Hirsch in more detail.

During this informal online session we will share and consider our thoughts on the book and our personal takeaways and learnings.

We welcome anyone to come along even if you haven’t managed to finish or read the book and would just like to hear an honest and open discussion around how we can have more informed conversations about race.

Any non-member ticket sales will be donated to Annette Joseph’s diverse and equal black tech go fund me campaign. The funder is to help identify the barriers to entry for black people in Tech, discover how to support black employees already working in the industry and get visibility on how Tech is impacting black lives.
