Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), states: “Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.”
How many people do not have access to the internet in major cities, especially NYC? What is currently being done to ensure the internet is accessible to everyone? How can we collaborate to advance this movement? Join us for the safe space where we will talk about the growing movement to end the digital divide and break out into one-on-one conversations to come up with ideas on how to advance this movement.
