In this session learn about VMware's sell with solution around Azure VMware Solutions (AVS), a first party Microsoft Azure service. Discover how VMware and Microsoft are partnering to allow customers to extend their VMware based workloads to the Azure Cloud with low risk and maximum velocity to provide the “fastest path to cloud”. We will take you through the AVS Architecture, how you can leverage Azure native services to augment your application landscape, create hybrid applications and deliver business value to your organisation. As a result of this session you will learn how to best leverage your existing VMware assets with Microsoft Azure, understand the use cases, and get the lowdown on how to get started.

A bit about Andy and Adam:

Andy & Adam are Staff Cloud Solution Architects @ VMware and the AVS (Azure VMware Solution) Technical leads dedicated to supporting the sell with motion around AVS. Both are seasoned cloud architects, and both have experience of working for Microsoft in Azure leadership roles, Andy as a Principal Architect in the Customer Success Unit (CSU) and Adam as one of the lead CSA’s within the One Commercial Partner (OPC) team. Combining their VMware and Azure experience they lead the VMware teams responsible for supporting Microsoft around AVS working closely with the AVS Global Black Belt (GBB) team as well as the Customer Success Unit (CSU), Account Technology Strategists (ATS) and Product Engineering in driving customer adoption and support.
