NB - This is an interactive masterclass where participation from delegates is expected and will be delivered using Zoom video conferencing. This interactive masterclass will give a broad overview of how to manage your business working remotely including communication, management tools and everything digital required for remote working. It is ideal for the business or sole-trader that is new to using and adopting digital applications as part of their business activities.
The session will explain the jargon that surrounds digital technology and provide simple practical tips on programmes, tools and applications that can be implemented immediately to enable effective remote working. It will highlight some of the pitfalls of remote working and give practical remedies. The participants will leave with a good understanding of digital applications and a plan of what technologies, safeguards and processes they need to incorporate into their business activities.

About the Presenter – Guy Lewis An independent consultant since 2004 specialising in advising businesses on how best to deploy new technology and achieve the dividends this can bring. Experienced across all genres of media production, critical value operations and programme content workflows and able to analyse and deliver the best fit technical solutions suitable for programming needs.
Delivers business support coaching and workshops around business technologies for manufacturing, service industry, construction, and creative and digital sectors.
Guy has a wealth of knowledge and experience in technology having worked as Head of Production Technology for ITV, being responsible for the development of future solutions and media workflow to deliver programming requirements across all departments. Also being engaged by the BBC as the Lead Technology Adviser for Media City to develop, shape, and deliver the technology strategy plan and budgetary costings that achieved BBC Board of Governors’ approval for the new BBC site to be based at Media City UK in Salford.

Am I eligible? The interactive masterclass is available to businesses, partnerships, sole traders, and registered charities, with a trading address located within Greater Lincolnshire (North Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire & Lincolnshire).
To attend, your business must complete an SME enrolment form in order to check the business’s eligibility against the funding criteria. (The form will be sent to you on completion of an Eventbrite booking - if one has not already been completed and on file).
