TERMS & CONDITIONS These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry and claim instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

2. WHO CAN ENTER This prize promotion (the “Promotion”) is open to customers of Co-operative Group Limited Stores in Great Britain (England, Scotland, and Wales) aged 18 years or over at the time of entry excluding employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, the Promoter’s agents, third parties or any other person professionally connected with the Promotion.

3. THE PROMOTIONAL PERIOD The promotional period will begin at 07:00 12th April 2023 (the “Opening Date”) and will end at 23:59 pm 2nd May 2023 (the “Closing Date”). All entries received after the Closing Date will be automatically disqualified.

4. HOW TO ENTER

a. Text FANTA followed by a space, your full name and postcode to 85100.

b. Entrants must have a mobile phone to enter this promotion. Entry is by text only. Entrants must have a mobile phone able to send and receive messages to/from 5-digit short codes. Messages charged at service provider’s standard network rate. Texts may not be included in any text inclusive packages. Users on virtual mobile networks may not be able to text the short code. Please check with your network provider. Text lines are open 24 hours a day until 23:59 on the Closing Date, excluding the opening date whereby text lines will be open from 07:00 onwards. Ask the bill payer before texting. If you text before the Opening Date or after the Closing Date, you will not be entered but you will be charged. Take care when entering the text code; the Promoter is not responsible for mistypes and your entry may not be counted and you may be charged at a higher rate. If you are unable to send a text, please check with your network operator first. c. Only 1 entry per person throughout the promotional period.

d. Only one mobile phone number will be accepted per person. Any entrant using multiple mobile phone numbers to access the promotion will be disqualified and any prize entitlement will be void. The Promoter reserves the right to determine, in its sole and absolute discretion, whether a participant has already submitted an entry and to disqualify the original entry and any subsequent entries or Prize entitlement.

e. No third party or bulk entries. Entries via third parties, consumer groups or syndicates, entries by macros or other automated or manual means and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms and Conditions in full will be disqualified. If it becomes apparent in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter that any entrant or the entrant’s household is using any means to circumvent this condition such as, and without limitation, fraudulently falsifying data, using multiple addresses, using identities other than their own, using multiple mobile phones, using any other automated means in order to increase that entrant's entries, or otherwise acting dishonestly, fraudulently or otherwise in violation of these terms, such entrant will be disqualified, and any prize entitlement will be void.

f. Proof of purchase will not be accepted as proof of entry. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are incomplete, lost due to technical reasons, corrupted, delayed or not received for whatsoever reason.

5. WINNER SELECTION

a. There are twelve (12) prize winners in total. The winners will be drawn by a random computer generator from all eligible entries within 14 days of the Closing Date. The first two (2) entrants drawn will win the first prize, the next five (5) entrants drawn will win the second prize and the next five (5) entrants drawn win the third prize.

b. Maximum of one prize per household

6. THE PRIZES

a. There are two (2) first prizes. The first prize is a hotel stay for one night at Chessington World of Adventures for a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children) staying in a standard room with a 20-minute African animal safari (minimum age 5 to participate in the safari). Prize includes breakfast at the hotel, access to the Savannah Splash Pool, access to Chessington World of Adventures plus early ride time.

Prize excludes additional meals, food and beverages, travel, spending money, personal expenses and any additional experiences.

Prize must be taken by 30th October 2023, excluding Super Peak dates 20th - 21st May 2023, 27th - 31st May 2023, 1st – 3rd June 2023, 12th – 31st August 2023 and subject to availability.

b. There are five (5) prizes of an individual Gold Merlin Annual Passes. The Gold Merlin Annual Pass is valid for over 340 days of entry and includes free parking, 20% off retail, food and beverages, and £5 off Fasttrack Vouchers. The pass is provided digitally and sent to the winner’s email address.

Travel, meals, beverages, spending money, personal expenses and any additional experiences are not included within the Gold Merlin Annual Pass. c. There are five (5) prizes of a family of 5 tickets to Chessington World of Adventures. A family ticket is for two adults and three children. The ticket is valid for 1 day and must be taken by 30th October 2023, excluding Super Peak dates 20th – 21st May 2023, 27th – 31st May 2023, 1st – 3rd June 2023, 12th – 31st August 2023 and subject to availability.

Travel, meals, beverages, spending money, personal expenses and any additional experiences are not included within the entry ticket.

The Promoter reserves the right to replace a Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.

7. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND PRIZE FULFILMENT

a. The winners will be notified via text message within 14 days of the Closing Date and asked to email proof of address within 14 days to claim their Prize. Name and address details must match the details submitted in the text message when entering. If a winner does not respond to notification within the first 7 days another text message will be sent. If the winner does not respond within a further 7 days, the prize entitlement will be withdrawn.

b. It is a winner’s responsibility to provide correct, up-to-date details when confirming acceptance in order for their Prize claim to be processed. The Promoter cannot be held responsible if the winner fails to supply accurate or complete information which affects prize acceptance or delivery of their prize.

c. In the event that proof of address cannot be provided, or proof of address does not match details provided at the point of entry, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw prize entitlement and award the prize to a new winner.

d. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the winner including proof of name, age and address and to request ID and to withdraw Prize entitlement where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions.

e. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility in the event the winner is not able to accept their prize.

f. If the Prize is unclaimed or withheld, it will be allocated to a reserve winner drawn at the same time as the original.

g. A third-party agency will contact prize winners within 28 working days of claim verification to arrange delivery of their Prize.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter and its agents will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate entrants for any losses that may be incurred as a result of entering the Promotion and the Promoter does not accept any liability for any loss, damage, disappointment personal injury or death occurring as a result of a winner’s acceptance and use of a prize except where such damage or loss is caused by the negligence of the Promoter or its agents.

9. DATA PROTECTION

a. Any personal data submitted by entrants and the winners will be processed for the purposes of the administration of this prize promotion and prize fulfilment only. Data gathered will be controlled by the Co-operative and subject to its privacy notice in relation to further processing. The Promoter will not control or process personal data. b. The winner’s data will be passed onto a third-party fulfilment service provider for the purpose of administering the prize only.

10. GENERAL

a. Promoter’s decision is final and binding in relation to all matters relating to the Promotion. No correspondence will be entered into.

b. By entering this Promotion an entrant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

c. Instructions provided at the point of entry form part of the Terms and Conditions of this Promotion.

d. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to eliminate or disqualify any entries or entrants that it regards as being in breach of these Terms and Conditions or the spirit of the Promotion. Those who try to circumvent the entry process and/or entry instructions by any method, will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.

e. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, withdraw, terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside its reasonable control, with no liability to any entrants or third parties but will use all reasonable endeavours to avoid consumer disappointment.

f. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for system errors or other issues that may result in disruption to winner notifications or prizes. The Promoter or its agencies will not be responsible for the non-inclusion of entries, including any such failure which is within the control of The Promoter or its agencies.

g. The surname and county of prize winners will be made available to anyone who requests them by emailing fanta@coopwinners.co.uk by 2nd June 2023. Customers who do not want to appear in the list of prize winners, in the event they win, can opt out by emailing KITS@coopwinners.co.uk before 2nd May 2023. However, the Promoter shall provide the surname and county of the winners to competent authorities upon request from such competent authorities (including the Advertising Standards Authority).

h. If any clause or provision of these Terms and Conditions is declared by a court to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable, this declaration shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other clause or provision within.

i. Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute concerning them.
