Dying Matters Awareness Week
We're supporting Hospice UK's Dying Matters Awareness Week from 8 - 14 May 2023. We're encouraging communities across the country to come together to talk about death, dying and grief in the workplace.
When someone dies, we can help you arrange the right funeral for them. If you’re not sure where to start, find out what to do when someone dies.
If you're planning for the future, we offer a range of pre-paid funeral plans.
As funeral directors, we're experienced, professional and passionate about what we do. The first thing we do is listen to you, then advise, guide, and inspire you to create the perfect funeral arrangement.
From a horse-drawn hearse to a favourite colour theme, tell us what you want, and we’ll do our best to make it happen.
We’ll help guide you through, step-by-step
We listen to you, because you know them best

Funeral costs can vary depending on where you live in the UK. Find out how much a funeral may cost at your local Co-op funeral home by using our funeral cost calculator.

Pay towards an outstanding balance or for the funeral in full online. You’ll need the last name of the person the funeral was for and the invoice reference, you’ll have been sent this by email or post.

If you instruct Co-op Legal Services to carry out probate, they could cover the cost of the funeral up front. They get the money back from the ‘estate’ (the things that the person owned), later.

At Co-op Funeralcare, our commitment to helping you doesn’t stop once the funeral is over. We’re here to support you afterwards, too. Our colleagues can help you find support and advice for grief and bereavement through our own support groups or established charities.
