How much it will cost and paying for your memorial

Headstones cost from £1,200 and cremation memorials and plaques cost from £420. We’ll be clear about the costs and guide you through the options for your budget.

You’ll need to pay a deposit that is half of the cost when you place your order. We’ll send you an invoice for the remaining half of the cost once the memorial is in place, which you’ll need to pay within 21 days.

Type of memorial

You can choose a headstone, smaller memorial, cremation memorial, tablet or other types of memorial.

Size, shape and colour

Think about whether you would like a rounded, square or one of our other shapes. We can help you choose a colour and size that suits your overall design.

Type of stone and finish

We have granite and marble options, or soft stones like yorkstone and portland. Depending on the stone, you can choose a polished, part-polished or more muted fine-rubbed and rustic finishes.

Lettering type and colour

We’ll help you to remember your loved ones in your own words and style. You can choose letter shapes, types and finishes including hand cut, blasted, painted and gold gilded.

Regulations for memorials

There are regulations about the kind of memorial that you can have in some burial grounds and cemetries. We will guide you through what is possible and apply for any permits as part of our service.

Add a design or image

If you want to personalise your memorial, you can add pictures of things like places, people, plants and flowers. We can add any design you like and use techniques like sand blasting and carving to make it last.

Vases and photo frames

You can also add something decorative to your memorial. We have memorial vases in different stones and colours, flower holders and photo frames.

Options from our range or bespoke designs

You can choose from a wide range of memorial designs in our ranges, or our stonemasons can create a bespoke design for you. You can bring us a drawing or describe what you want from looking at other memorials.
