Why choose a Co-op funeral plan?

✓ We both plan and carry out your funeral, making sure every detail is exactly as you wanted.

✓ Our pre-paid funeral plans include the unique Co-op Commitment, meaning there's no more for your family to pay, even if you die before you pay in full.**

✓ Unlike some funeral plan providers, our plans are fully guaranteed, meaning we'll cover essential third party costs, and no matter how much prices rise, your loved ones will have nothing more to pay for the services included in your plan. (As prices and availability vary across the UK, Co-op burial plans don't include the cost of buying a grave.)

✓ Our pre-paid funeral plans have received awards and 5-star ratings from independent financial experts.

✓ A choice of easy payment options, including one-off payments or instalments up to 25 years.

How can I pay for my funeral plan?

You can choose to pay for your plan in full or pay in monthly instalments over 6 or 12 months, or 2-25 years. If you choose to pay over 2-25 years and you die after the first 12 months of making payments, we’ll still provide all the services included in your plan, and your family will have nothing left to pay. This is our Co-op Commitment.

*£20.85 per month is based on a 50 year old purchasing a Simple Funeral Plan at £3,295 over 25 years (total amount repayable £6,255.65). Our low cost monthly instalments give you a range of payment options, providing greater flexibility. With a choice of terms over 2 - 25 years you can spread the cost of paying for your funeral plan. An Instalment Charge is included in the plan cost if you choose to pay over 2-25 years. A maximum age limit applies to the Plan Purchaser. This option is available to anyone as long as the plan is paid for in full before the Plan Purchaser's 80th birthday.

**The Co-op Commitment applies if you are paying in instalments over 2-25 years and 1 year has passed since the start date, instalments must be paid up to date and your funeral must be carried out by one of our Funeral Directors. See our terms and conditions.
