People’s Postcode Lottery Competition

FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. THE PROMOTION

1.1 Entry is only open to persons aged 18 years or over (i) who reside in the UK and (ii) who submit their contact details using the entry form provided.

1.2 Entries are limited to one per person.

1.3 To enter the Prize Draw, entrants must complete and submit the entry form.

1.4 The prize is a £500 Co-op gift card, and four Prizes are available to be won. The Prize is supplied by Co-operative Group Limited (the Supplier). The Prize is subject to the Supplier’s standard terms and conditions found at https://www.coop.co.uk/terms-and-conditions.

1.5 The Prize Draw will be open from 00:00:01 hours on Wednesday 25 February 2026 until 23:59:59 hours on Tuesday 17 March 2026.

1.6 If this Prize Draw is deemed to be a linked lottery as defined by the Gambling Commission, Existing Players who subscribe to paid-for society lottery draws managed by People’s Postcode Lottery and who are blocked or self-exclude during the Prize Draw period will be removed from the Prize Draw.

1.7 Employees and/or contractors of Postcode Lottery Limited and Co-operative Group Limited are not eligible to enter this Prize Draw.

2. SELECTION OF WINNERS and CLAIMING OF PRIZE/S

2.1 The Prize Draw will take place on Monday 23 March 2026. Winners of the Prize Draw will be selected by the Promoter at random using randomisation software.

2.2 The Promoter will check eligibility of winning participants prior to confirming the award of a prize. If a winner is found to be ineligible or if any potential winner does not comply with these terms and conditions, then the winner may in the Promoter's sole discretion, be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected.

2.3 The Promoter’s determination of any matter relating to eligibility or entitlement to a prize from the Prize Draw shall be final and binding.

2.4 The winners of the Prize Draw will be notified of their win by email within 48 hours of the prize draw by a representative of the Promoter.

2.5 The first name and county of the winners will be shown on the Promoter’s website unless the winner has already contacted the Promoter to object to this information being provided. In such circumstances the first name and county of the winner will not be published but will be provided to the Advertising Standards Authority if required.

2.6 While the Promoter shall use its best efforts to ensure the accuracy of all winner notification communications, the Promoter shall not be liable to award prizes to any individuals advised in error that they have won in a Prize Draw, in circumstances where they have not in fact won the Prize Draw.

2.7 Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and there is no alternative prize available.

2.8 The prize will be given to the winner only and may not be claimed by a third party on a winner’s behalf.

2.9 The Promoter shall be entitled to supply an alternative prize of equal or greater value where an advertised prize is unavailable for reasons outside the Promoter’s reasonable control.

2.10 The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed their prize within 7 days of the Announcement Date, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternate winner.

2.11 The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment suffered by a winner as a result of taking up a prize or being unable to take up a prize.

3. GENERAL CONDITIONS

3.1 The Promoter shall have no liability for any system failure or other action or event that prevents a person from entering the promotion. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up a prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. An entrant’s statutory rights are not affected.

3.2 This promotion does not form part of the society lotteries managed by the Promoter. It is a free promotion, and prizes are funded by the Promoter.

3.4 Any Existing Player who, if successful in a Prize Draw, would win prizes worth more than £500,000 in aggregate across that draw and any other individual paid-for society lottery draws managed by People’s Postcode Lottery occurring within the previous 50 days of the relevant Prize Draw will not be eligible to win a prize in the Prize Draw.

3.5 These terms and conditions are governed by English Law and entrants to the Prize Draw submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

4. PRIVACY

4.1 The Promoter is the Data Controller for personal data you provide when entering this Prize Draw. The Promoter takes the protection of personal data seriously.

4.2 The processing of entrants’ and winners' details is a legitimate interest activity, which is necessary for the successful operation of the Prize Draw. 4.3 The Promoter may use a third party to supply prizes in which case winners’ details will be shared with its supplier for the purpose of distributing prizes.

PROMOTER

The Prize Draw is promoted by Postcode Lottery Limited (trading as the People’s Postcode Lottery), which has its registered office at the Promoter, C/O BDO LLP, Two Snowhill, 7th Floor, Birmingham, United Kingdom, B4 6GA.

DEFINITIONS

Existing Player shall mean any player who has signed up to play the society lottery draws managed by People’s Postcode Lottery on or before 25 February 2026 and who has not cancelled their subscription on or before 25 February 2026. For the avoidance of doubt, cancelled subscriptions shall include subscriptions actively cancelled by the Existing Player – either directly with People’s Postcode Lottery or via their bank – and lapsed subscriptions. For purposes of these terms and conditions, a lapsed subscription is a subscription where there have been three consecutive missed payments by the Existing Player.
