Terms and Conditions

By entering the Promotion you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions (the ‘Terms and Conditions’) and that you consent to the processing of any personal details you submit by Allwyn in accordance with its Privacy Policy https://www.national-lottery.co.uk/privacy-policy

1. Eligibility:

This promotion is only open to UK residents (excluding Northern Ireland) aged 18 years or over and who hold a valid Co-op Membership Card. Temporary Membership Card holders are automatically excluded from this promotion. Proof of age must be provided if requested. Employees of the Promoter (including employees of the Allwyn Group of Companies^, or any of their associated, affiliated or subsidiary companies, key subcontractors, their immediate dependent family, or agents (or any of its group undertakings and its agencies) are excluded from entering.

2. How to enter:

2.1. Purchase any National Lottery Scratchcard (as set out in the table at Appendix 1 below) and scan your Co-op membership card in a participating Co-operative Group Food store during the Promotional Period (as defined below). Temporary membership card holders are automatically excluded from this promotion. . The Promoter will ask winners to provide proof of age.

2.2. Purchase necessary. Only one entry per person per day., regardless of how many Scratchcards are purchased. Maximum 10 Scratchcards per transaction.

3. Promotional Period:

The Promotional period will run from 00:00 UTC+01:00 on the 19/11/2025 and will finish on 23:59 UTC+01:00 on the 09/12/2025.

4. Prizes:

4.1. The Prize available to won in this Promotion is a £200 Coop Gift Card (redeemable in-store only). There is a total of 10 prizes available.

4.2. The Prize is as stated, non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.

4.3. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the Prizes are the responsibility of the Winners.

5. The Draw

5.1 5.2. All valid entries will be entered into a random draw conducted by The Co-op via a secure, entirely automated independently verified computer system. The Winners will the first 10 entries randomly selected fom all valid entries. A further 20 entries will be selected from all valid entries to constitute the reserves list.

6. Winner announcement/Prize claim:

6.1. There are 10 Prizes available to be won.

6.2 Winners will be notified by The Co-op via email within TWO (2) weeks of the end of the Promotional Period. Co-op will use the address registered on the winner's Co-op membership account to notify them. The Winner may withdraw from the promotion by responding “opt-out” within 48 hours of receiving the notification email. Co-op will pass the winner's email address to the Promoter and the Promoter’s fulfilment partner, Nick Deyong Ltd (NDL) so the Promoter can arrange prize fulfilment.

6.3. The Winners of a Prize must respond within two (2) business days of being notified by the Promoter. If the Winner does not respond within such timeframe, or rejects the Prize, or cannot confirm compliance with these Terms and Conditions, then the Promoter will attempt to award the Prize to a reserve from the reserves list.

6.4 If despite the Promoters best efforts, a Prize remains unclaimed after offering to at least two reserves, or the list of 20 reserves has been exhausted, the Promoter shall not be obliged to allocate the Prize but may withdraw it from the Promotion and use it as it sees fit.

6. Privacy and Data Protection:

6.1. Personal data received by the Promoter and NDL in the course of the Promotion will be used in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and in accordance with their respective privacy policies, available atPrivacy Policy: https://www.national-lottery.co.uk/privacy-policy and www.ndlgroup.com/privacy-policy. By participating in the Promotion you consent to the Promoter processing your personal data for the purposes of carrying out the promotion and notifying and advertising the winners.

6.2. The surname and county of residence of the winners will be made available by the Promoter to anyone contacting the Promoter through the webpage: www.national-lottery.co.uk/contact-us#get-in-touch from 20th December. If you do not wish for your details to be made available, you should advise the Co-op and / or the Promoter when accepting the Prize. In any event the winners details will be made available to the ASA upon request.

7. General:

7.1. The Promoter reserves the right, in exceptional circumstances, to award an alternative prize of equal or greater value, should the Prize (or any element of it) become unavailable for any reason.

7.2. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this Promotion or the awarding of the Prize, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Promotion or these Terms and Conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

7.3. The Promoter reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to verify the Winners, including but not limited to, proof of identity and/or age, as required or refuse to award a prize or to withdraw Prize entitlement and/or refuse participation in the Promotion where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions or any instructions forming part of this Promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained an unfair advantage in participating in the Promotion or has won using fraudulent means.

7.4. By entering the Promotion, you agree to release the Promoter from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Promotion or with the acceptance, possession, attendance at or use of the Prize (except death or personal injury caused by the Promoter’s negligence, for fraud, or otherwise as prohibited by law).

7.5. In all aspects of this Promotion the Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the Promotion.

7.6 Co-operative Group Limited are not the Promoter and shall not be liable for any breaches of these terms and conditions by the Promoter.

7.7. These Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted and applied on the basis of English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
