The Farming Community Network is a UK-wide charity (charity no.1095919) working hard to support the health and wellbeing of farmers and their families. Founded in 1995, we’ve been called a ‘lifeline’ and a ‘trusted friend’.

Whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner, we all rely on farmers to put delicious and high-quality food on the table. But farming is a tough job with lots of pressures – unpredictable weather, long working hours, rising input costs, physically demanding work…the list goes on.

The Farming Community Network is here to help farmers stay healthy and well, 365 days of the year.

  • The network runs a confidential helpline for farming people - 0300 123 2825

  • Volunteers with farming knowledge are there to listen and support

  • They lead groundbreaking research and projects to champion British agriculture and support farmers’ wellbeing

  • Their FarmWell website provides extensive information to help farmers and their businesses – from farm safety and rural crime to physical and mental health

  • Each year the network helps thousands of people – ensuring farms can thrive for generations to come:
