Turn our empty egg carton into a beautiful flower
Turn our empty egg carton into a beautiful flower to entertain the kids this summer.
What will you need?
- 1x Co-op egg carton 6-pack
- A pair of scissors
- Acrylic paint
- Wooden skewer
- Transparent tape
Please complete this activity with adult supervision.
Step 1: Remove any eggs from the box and ensure the box is clean.
Step 2: With adult supervision, use the scissors to cut through the carton in a straight line to remove 4 egg cups. Make sure the 4 egg cups remain joined, only 1 cut should be required.
Step 3: Use your acrylic paint to paint the middle of the removed egg cup carton yellow. Now paint the remaining area in the colour of your favourite flower and leave to dry.
Step 4: Paint the wooden skewer green and leave to dry.
Step 5: Once the paint has dried, use the transparent tape to attach the pointed end of your wooden skewer to the egg cup carton to create your flower.
