The Local Community Fund supports projects in our members’ communities that provide access to opportunities and resources for people to thrive. Co-op Members can choose the local cause they want to support through their membership.

Co-op Members can influence how and where we share our profits by choosing a local cause to support.

It's thanks to members that we've shared £115 million with 39,500 community projects across the UK since 2016.

We work with a national charity called 360 Giving, who help us publish data about the grants we make through our Local Community Fund. Use the GrantNav tool to find out where we’ve shared funding in your community.

Gorgeous Gorse Hill are proud to be part of the Local Community Fund - an initiative that gives back to causes - and are grateful to members for supporting them.

It’s thanks to Co-op Members that 422 Community Pantry has been able to provide food, essential items, and ongoing support to those facing financial hardship.

Applications to the Local Community Fund are now closed for 2025.

If you've recently applied for funding, we will let you know if your group or project has been successful in October 2025.
