Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions. By entering this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions and to their details being communicated to the Promoter’s representatives so that the Promoter or its representatives can contact the participant in connection with the promotion (as necessary). Please retain a copy for your information.
1. PROMOTER: This promotion is operated by Co-operative Group Food Limited, a registered society under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014, Registered No 26715R with registered office at 1 Angel Square, Manchester, M60 0AG. References to ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’ in these terms and conditions are references to the Promoter.
2. OPENING AND CLOSING DATE: This promotion runs from 09:01 09 February 2026 to 23:59 15 February 2026 (the “Promotional Period”). Any entries made before the opening date or after the closing date will not be valid and will not be entered into this promotion.
3. ELIGIBILITY: This promotion is open to UK residents, who are Co-op Group Members and employee members of Co-operative Group Limited that access the Co-op App during the Promotional Period and take part in the Valentine’s game. Internet access required. Temporary Membership cardholders are excluded from this promotion.
4. HOW TO ENTER: To receive their Digital Offer members must,
1) Access the Co-op App during the Promotional Period,
2) Click the link on the Co-op app homepage to continue to the Valentine’s game,
3) Scratch the screen to reveal a Digital Offer (The Digital Offer).
Members can only play once and will only receive one digital offer during the Promotional Period.
5. THE DIGITAL OFFER: A digital offer will be one of either 25p, 50p or £1 off your next shop.
5.1 The digital offer is linked to Co-op member’s valid membership card – if a new membership card is received once the digital offer has been uploaded to the member’s membership card, the discount will not be accessible.
5.2 The digital offer will automatically be added to the member’s membership card and will remain valid until 23:59 on 22 February 2026, thereafter the digital offer will expire. The digital offer can only be used once.
5.3 Digital Offers are non-transferable, are not exchangeable and no cash alternative will be given. We accept no responsibility for any Digital Offers that are unused by their expiry date.
5.4 The digital offer cannot be used on purchases made at shop.coop.co.uk, on delivery partner sites (such as Uber Eats), or on fuel, first stage baby milk, postage stamps, saving schemes, lottery purchases, gift cards and vouchers, phone cards, in-store concessions, PayPoint, newspaper deliveries, mobile phone top ups, saving stamps, prescription medicines, carrier bags, or cigarettes, vapes and tobacco.
5.5 The digital offer is subject to Minimum Unit Pricing (MUP). Where the digital offer would reduce alcohol below MUP, we reserve the right to revoke the use of the digital offer on the transaction. If the digital offer is used in conjunction with any other discounts, the alcohol will only be discounted by whichever reduces the price of the alcohol furthest, without reducing the alcohol below the MUP.
6. REDEEMING THE REWARD: To redeem the Digital Offer, members must scan their membership card/App at the till in a Co-operative Group Food.
6.1 You must spend at least the value of your offer for your offer to be redeemed (e.g. spend at least £1 to redeem £1 off). The Digital Offer will automatically be added to the member’s membership card/wallet after completing the game and will be redeemed on their next shop in a Co-op Food store.
6.2 The digital offer cannot be used in conjunction with other offers for money off total spend e.g. £1 off £10 or £1 off.
6.3 You cannot spend your digital offer with the following retailers, even though they may sell Co-op branded products: independent co-operatives, including Central England, Chelmsford Star, Southern and Midcounties; NISA or; franchise stores; at the Co-op Live arena; any other non-Co-op branded retailers.

7. DECISIONS OF THE PROMOTER: If there is any dispute about the receipt or validity of any coupon or any other aspect of the promotion, this will be decided by us. Our decision regarding any aspect of the promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it. We are not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions. We reserve the right to cancel or amend this promotion due to events or circumstances arising beyond our control.
8. AGREEMENT TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Entry to this promotion shall constitute your acceptance of these terms and conditions and your agreement to be bound by them. These terms and conditions take effect immediately upon entry to the promotion. These terms and conditions prevail in the event of a conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials.
9. DISQUALIFICATION: We reserve the right to reject any entry, withhold any Digital Offer and disqualify you from the promotion if we reasonably suspect you of failing to comply with these terms and conditions or of fraud, cheating or dishonesty, without limitation, through the manipulation of codes, multiple computer-generated submissions, or otherwise fraudulently falsifying data or acting fraudulently or dishonestly in the Promoter’s opinion. Submissions must be made personally. Submissions made through agents/third-parties, bulk submissions or automated submissions are invalid.
10. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION TO ADMINISTER PROMOTION: By entering this promotion, you agree to us collecting and using your personal data. We, and any third-party agencies acting on our behalf, may collect personal information from you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and other applicable data privacy laws. 11. USE OF PERSONAL AND OTHER INFORMATION FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES: By entering this promotion, you agree that if you take part in this promotion, we, other members of the Co-operative Group Limited and third party agencies acting on our behalf, may use your entry, name, photo or image, county of residence and any testimonial you have provided to us, for promotional purposes (including on our websites, social media, within our magazines or within promotional emails). 12. CANCELLATION OR WITHDRAWAL OF PROMOTION: We reserve the right at our absolute discretion to withdraw or cancel this promotion without prior notice and without liability to any party if it becomes necessary to do so.
13. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS: We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Revised terms and conditions will be available at www.coop.co.uk/terms/februarygame2026. It is your responsibility to keep up to date with any such changes.
14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: We exclude all conditions, warranties and representations express or implied by law or otherwise in connection with the Digital Offer and the promotion. We shall be under no liability whatsoever or howsoever arising in connection with any loss, damage or injury, directly or indirectly occurring as a result of the provision of, or use of, the Digital Offer. We make no attempt to exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury arising as a result of negligence.
15. RELEVANT LAW: This promotion and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England, and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts if any dispute arises.
16. GENERAL: The Promoter is not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions. We cannot guarantee that the event will be free from disruptions, failings, or cancellations. We are not liable for such disruptions, failings, or cancellations unless they are caused by our negligence.
