PLAY TO ENTER OUR PRIZE DRAW

Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions. By entering this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions and have agreed to their details being communicated to the Promoter’s representatives so that the Promoter or its representatives can contact the participant in connection with the promotion (as necessary).  Please retain a copy for your information.

1. PROMOTER: This promotion is operated by Co-operative Group Food Limited a registered society under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014 with registration number 26715R whose registered office is at 1 Angel Square, Manchester, M60 0AG. Any reference to ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’ in these Terms and Conditions should mean the Co-operative Group Food Limited. 

2. OPENING AND CLOSING DATE: The Promotion Period runs from 09:01am 16 March 2026 through to 23:59pm 22 March 2026. Any entries made outside of the Promotion Period will not be valid and will not be entered into this promotion. 

3. ELIGIBILITY: This promotion is only open to UK residents who are members of Co-operative Group Limited aged 18 years or over. We may ask the winner to provide proof of age. Employees of the Promoter can enter to win, however employees of the Promoter (or any of its group undertakings and its agencies) who are directly connected with the creation and administration of this promotion are excluded from entering this promotion. This promotion is not available in any independent co-operative societies, some Co-op franchise stores and concessions (such as Co-op Live) or in non-Co-op branded stores (such as Nisa). 

4. HOW TO ENTER: To enter the prize draw, members must access the Co-op App between the opening and closing date and click the link on the discover tab to continue to the game and complete the game. Members can attempt the game multiple times to be entered into the prize draw or skip to be entered into the prize draw. Members can only enter the prize draw once during this promotional period.

5. PRIZES: There are ten prizes available of £100 credit to be added to the winning member’s Co-op member wallet. The £100 credit can only be spent in Co-op Group Food stores, at Co-op Funeralcare or with Co-op Legal Services. Prizes are provided at our discretion, and we may substitute or change it for a prize of an equivalent or greater value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.  Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative can be requested.

6. WINNER SELECTION: 10 winners will be drawn using a randomised computer process within 4 weeks of the close date. The winner will then be contacted within 4 weeks of being drawn.

7. NOTIFICATION: The winner will be notified by the Promoters via email address competitionsupport@coop.co.uk or phone to the details held on our member records within 4 weeks of the winner being drawn. If the winner does not respond to the Promoters within 5 days of being notified and provide the requested information for delivery of the prize, then the winner's prize will be forfeited, and another winner will be picked at random from the remaining eligible entries in accordance with the process described above in the WINNER SELECTION clause. We accept no responsibility for prizes that are lost, stolen, or unused by their expiry date. We accept no responsibility where incomplete or incorrect information has been entered as part of a member’s details. If you do not win the prize draw, you will not receive an email or phone call from us.

8. DECISIONS OF THE PROMOTERS: If there is any dispute about the receipt or validity of any entry or any other aspect of the promotion, this will be decided by us. Our decision regarding any aspect of the promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it. We are not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions. We reserve the right to cancel or amend this promotion due to events or circumstances arising beyond our control. The Promoters are not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions.

9. WINNERS LIST: Winner’s name and respective county of residence can be made available upon request by emailing competitionsupport@coop.co.uk with the subject title ‘Insurance Game Winners List’ within twenty-eight (28) days of the date of the winner being drawn. By entering, winner’s consent to such information being disclosed upon request. You have the right to ask that we stop any consent-based processing of your personal data after you withdraw that consent.

10. AGREEMENT TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Entry to this promotion shall constitute your acceptance of these terms and conditions and your agreement to be bound by them. These terms and conditions take effect immediately upon entry to the promotion. These terms and conditions prevail in the event of a conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials.

11. DISQUALIFICATION: We reserve the right to reject any entry, withhold any prize and disqualify you from the promotion if we reasonably suspect you of failing to comply with these terms and conditions or of fraud, cheating or dishonesty, without limitation, through the manipulation of codes, multiple computer-generated entries, or otherwise fraudulently falsifying data or acting fraudulently or dishonestly in the Promoter’s opinion. Entries must be made personally. Entries made through agents/third-parties, bulk entries or automated entries are invalid. 

12. NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ENTRIES NOT RECEIVED: The Promoters accept no responsibility for lost, damaged, incomplete, illegible, or delayed entries and such entries will be void. The Promoters cannot guarantee uninterrupted or secure access to the entry route. We accept no responsibility for entries not successfully received by us, or which are delayed, due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network, or server failure of any kind whether or not such failure is within the control of the Promotor or its agents. Proof of submission of entry is not proof of receipt of entry.

13. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION TO ADMINISTER PROMOTION: By entering this promotion, you agree to us collecting and using your personal data. We, and any third-party agencies acting on our behalf, may collect personal information from you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and other applicable data privacy laws. Except as set out below in the USE OF PERSONAL AND OTHER INFORMATION FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES clause, we, other members of the Co-operative Group Limited will only use your information for the purposes of administering this promotion. 14. USE OF PERSONAL AND OTHER INFORMATION FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES: By entering this promotion, you agree that if you win, we, other members of the Co-operative Group Limited and third party agencies acting on our behalf, may use your entry, name, photo or image, county of residence, any testimonial you have provided to us, and recorded phone call for promotional purposes (including on our websites, social media, within our magazines or within promotional emails). 15. CANCELLATION OR WITHDRAWAL OF PROMOTION: We reserve the right at our absolute discretion to withdraw or cancel this promotion without prior notice and without liability to any party if it becomes necessary to do so.

16. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS: We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Revised terms and conditions will be available at coop.co.uk/terms/insurancegame2026. It is your responsibility to keep up to date with any such changes.

17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: All conditions, warranties and representations expressed or implied by law or otherwise in connection with the prize and the promotion are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law and the Promoters shall be under no liability whatsoever or howsoever arising in connection with any loss, damage or injury, directly or indirectly occurring as a result of the provision of, or use of, the prize. We make no attempt to exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury arising as a result of negligence.

18. RELEVANT LAW: This promotion and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England, and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts if any dispute arises. 

19. GENERAL: The Promoters are not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions. We cannot guarantee that the event will be free from disruptions, failings, or cancellations.  We are not liable for such disruptions, failings, or cancellations unless they are caused by our negligence.
