Guide for local causes

If you’re part of our Co-op Local Community Fund from 19 October 2025 to 17 October 2026, then this guide is for you. It will help you get the most out of our 12-month funding partnership by providing guidance on membership and where to download promotional materials.

Encourage Co-op Members to choose your cause and you could win big in November

Your project could win £10,000 in our Member Prizes draw

This November, Co-op Members have the chance to win £1,000 for them and £10,000 for their new chosen Local Community Fund cause as part of our Member Prizes draw.

To enter, members need to choose the prize through the Co-op App, spend a minimum of £5 in-store and swipe their Co-op membership card. 

So, make sure you encourage your supporters to download the Co-op App, become a Co-op Member and choose you as their local cause. Full details here.

As we are owned by our members, they have a say in how we spend our profits. One of the ways Co-op Members can influence where we share £5m in our communities is by choosing a local cause on the Co-op App. So, encourage your supporters to download the app and choose you.
