Co-op Academies
Through Co-op Academies, we’re helping young people get a great education, build confidence and gain the skills they need for the future.
Welcome to Co-op's Everyday Magic campaign in partnership with the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.
Everyday Magic aims to inspire Co-op members to share everyday magic and help make a difference to the development and wellbeing of babies and young children. For our Co-op this is an exciting opportunity for members to use their voice and share their ideas and inspiration for finding those simple everyday magic moments with young children.
Turn everyday tasks into tiny moments of joy — a silly song at tooth‑brushing time or a silly face during coat‑zipping can sprinkle connection throughout the day.
“When I'm making dinner Zion sometimes helps me and we play drums together on the pots and pans.”
— Zion & Petty
One extra smile, cuddle or “I see you” moment goes a long way. Tiny bursts of connection add up to big emotional wins for both you and your child.
“We love being outside when ever we can. Just spending time together, like watering the plants.”
— Toby & Becky
Choose small moments to be fully “in the bubble” with your child — no outside distraction, no rush, just slow, simple connection that helps their growing brain thrive.
“Sometimes we build a den in Libby's bedroom. It gives us our own special space away from any distractions.”
— Libby & Rachel
You don’t need fancy toys — a spoon, a box, a funny noise or a game of peekaboo is pure brain‑building gold. Follow their curiosity and join the fun.
“Me and my grandson love getting out and about. We play with what we find in nature and use our imagination to have big adventures together.”
— Sonny & Graham
Every family plays differently. Follow your child’s lead, lean into the kinds of play you enjoy too, and trust that genuine connection matters more than perfection.
“When we are at the Co-op Ezra likes to help me with the shopping. I let him lead the way and we do silly things like chatting on banana phones.”
— Ezra & Lateefah
Your wellbeing fuels theirs. Small acts of self‑care, support from others and shared community play all help create a thriving environment for you and your child.
“When I get some from work I love cuddling on the sofa with Zara and reading books together. It refuels me and helps me decompress from the outside world.”
— Zara & Nuetey
