  • 200g Co-op British Brussels sprouts
  • 125ml Co-op reduced fat crème fraîche
  • 2 tbsp Co-op semi-skimmed milk
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 tsp Co-op olive oil
  • 50g white breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped, or 1/2 tsp dried
  • 1 tbsp flat leaf parsley,chopped
  • 30g Co-op Irresistible Somerset vintage Cheddar, grated


  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/fan 180°C/Gas 6
  2. Trim and halve the Brussels sprouts lengthways and put them in a shallow ovenproof dish
  3. Mix the crème fraîche with the milk, season, and spread over the sprouts
  4. Gently fry the garlic in the oil for 1 minute
  5. Add the breadcrumbs, thyme, parsley and cheese and sprinkle with black pepper
  6. Sprinkle over the sprouts
  7. Bake for 25–30 mins, until the sprouts are just tender and the topping is crisp and golden
