Ingredients
- 1 pear, cored and sliced
- 500ml Co-op apple juice
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 star anise
- 4 cloves
- Zest of 1 clementine, peeled into wide strips with a vegetable peeler
- 50g Co-op pomegranate seeds
Method
- Fill the flask with boiling water to preheat it. Leave for 5 mins, then pour away
- Meanwhile, set aside two pear slices to garnish, if you like (see step 7)
- Put the apple juice, pear slices, spices and clementine zest into a small saucepan
- Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-10 mins, until the pear is tender
- Remove the spices and zest from the pan. Add the pomegranate seeds
- Pour the mulled juice into the flask if you‘re heading out
- If serving straight away, divide between two glasses and garnish with the reserved pear slices
