Sausage meatballs with spaghetti


Making meatballs out of sausagemeat is a great shortcut in this tasty pasta dish

  • 4 Co-op Truly Irresistible pork sausages (from a 400g pack)
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 150g Co-op spaghetti
  • 400g can Co-op Loved by Us cannellini beans
  • 1/2 x 500g jar Co-op Loved by Us tomato and garlic pasta sauce


  1. Make a cut all the way along the skin of each sausage and remove the skin
  2. Cut each sausage into 4 and shape the pieces into meatballs
  3. Heat the oil in a frying pan and cook the sausage balls over a medium heat until brown and cooked through. Drain off the fat
  4. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti just like it says on the pack, then drain in a colander
  5. Drain and rinse the cannellini beans and tip them into the pan with the cooked meatballs
  6. Add the pasta sauce and heat through, stirring often. Simmer for 3 minutes
  7. Toss the pasta with the meatballs and sauce and serve immediately
