  • 400g Co-op spaghetti
  • 120g Co-op Parmigiano Reggiano, finely grated
  • 4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Co-op extra virgin olive oil


  1. Cook the pasta according to the pack instructions
  2. Drain, reserving 200ml of the water
  3. Put the cheese and pepper in the pan, setting aside a little cheese
  4. Add some pasta water and stir to create a paste
  5. Gradually add more water until you have a thick sauce, then toss in the pasta
  6. Add the oil and more water if necessary until all the pasta is coated in the sauce
  7. Top with the reserved cheese and serve immediately
