Your Co-op Membership is making a difference

Just by being a Co-op Member-Owner you are making amazing things happen in supporting and protecting nature across the UK. Here are just a few examples of how you are making a difference through your Co-op.

1. Funding Peatland restoration

2. Supporting Fairtrade

3. Campaigning

Campaigning alongside our members since 2021, we have been calling for a faster, fairer transition for the sake of people and planet through our campaign for climate justice.

4. Carrier bags to carbon reduction

The Co-op Foundation’s Carbon Innovation Fund used money from the sale of Co-op’s compostable carrier bags to fund partnerships with organisations tackling climate change. Fal Fisheries, funded by the Co-op Foundation Carbon Innovation Fund, a partnership with Co-op.

5. Nature Neighbourhoods

Nature Neighbourhoods is a project we’re supporting in communities that seeks to protect and restore nature across the UK.
