  • 250g Co-op self raising white flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 Co-op British eggs, beaten
  • 300ml Co-op whole milk
  • 50g Co-op unsalted butter, melted and cooled


  1. Whisk the flour, baking powder, two beaten eggs and whole milk until smooth
  2. Add the melted butter and whisk again
  3. Heat a nonstick griddle pan over a medium-high heat and pour in half the batter
  4. Reduce the heat to medium and cook until bubbles start to appear on the surface
  5. Carefully flip the waffle over and cook for another 2-3 mins, until golden on both sides
  6. Lift out of the pan and cut into quarters
  7. Repeat with the other half of the batter
  8. Put two waffles onto each plate and add your choice of toppings
