Ingredients

  • 4 spring onions, trimmed and sliced
  • 400g Co-op 5% fat British lean beef steak mince
  • 1 Co-op British free range egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Large handful fresh parsley, chopped
  • A little oil, to grease the oven tray
  • 4 Co-op bread rolls, of your choice
  • To serve, ketchup or chilli and tomato relish, lettuce leaves and tomato slices

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/fan 180°C/Gas 6
  2. Put the spring onions into a large bowl with the mince
  3. Add the egg and mix together with the mustard and parsley
  4. Divide the mixture in half and then in half again to make 4
  5. Shape into burgers, using your hands
  6. Brush a little oil over an oven tray, put the burgers onto the tray and cook for about 10 mins
  7. Take the tray out of the oven, turn the burgers over and cook for another 5 mins, or until they are golden and cooked all the way through
  8. Serve the burgers in the rolls with the relishes, lettuce and tomatoes
