- 1/2 swede
- 2 potatoes
- 2 tbsp butter
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Peel and cut into chunks the swede and potatoes
- Boil the swede for 15 mins, add the potatoes and cook for another 10 - 15 mins until all the veg are tender
- Add the butter, season with pepper and mash together
- Serve with haggis
