
Slow-cooked pears

These pears make an ideal weekend brunch for sharing

Ingredients
- 5 Co-op British pears, peeled, halved and cored
- 50g dried apricots, roughly chopped
- 20g dried cranberries
- Zest and juice of 1 orange
- 1 tbsp Co-op clear honey
- 100g Co-op fat free Greek style yogurt
- 50g pistachios, roughly chopped
Method
- Arrange the pears cut-side down on the bottom of the slow cooker and sprinkle over the apricots and cranberries
- Mix together the orange zest, juice and honey, then pour over the pears
- Cover and cook on high for 2 hours, until the pears are tender
- Serve 2 halves per person with a spoonful of Greek yogurt and a sprinkling of pistachios
