These pears make an ideal weekend brunch for sharing

  • 5 Co-op British pears, peeled, halved and cored
  • 50g dried apricots, roughly chopped
  • 20g dried cranberries
  • Zest and juice of 1 orange
  • 1 tbsp Co-op clear honey
  • 100g Co-op fat free Greek style yogurt
  • 50g pistachios, roughly chopped


  1. Arrange the pears cut-side down on the bottom of the slow cooker and sprinkle over the apricots and cranberries
  2. Mix together the orange zest, juice and honey, then pour over the pears
  3. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours, until the pears are tender
  4. Serve 2 halves per person with a spoonful of Greek yogurt and a sprinkling of pistachios
