  • 1 tsp Co-op sunflower oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 Co-op Irresistible British outdoor bred pork sausages
  • 100g Co-op basmati rice
  • 1/2 chicken stock cube, crumbled
  • 200g Co-op peas
  • 200g Co-op broad beans
  • Freshly ground black pepper


  1. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onion for about 5 mins until soft
  2. Remove the meat from the sausages and stir into the onion
  3. Cook for 5 mins then add the rice, half stock cube and 400ml water
  4. Simmer for 5 mins
  5. Stir in the peas and beans
  6. Simmer for a further 7 mins, until the peas, beans and rice are cooked
  7. Season with black pepper and serve
