  • 400g Co-op British beef steak mince 12% fat
  • 4 white burger buns
  • 1 baby gem lettuce
  • 1 salad tomato sliced
  • 55g or 1/2 a brown onion finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree


  1. Mix the meat, onion, Worcestershire sauce and tomato puree
  2. Shape the mixture into 4 patties
  3. Heat a griddle pan or non-stick frying pan and cook on each side for 3-4 minutes
  4. Halve the burger buns and toast lightly
  5. Add a couple of baby gem lettuce leaves to the bottom half of each bun, then add the burger, slice of tomato and top of the bun
  6. Make sure your dinner is fully cooked and piping hot before serving it up.
