Ingredients
- 4 Co-op Irresistible Hereford beef rib burgers
- 1 tbsp Co-op vegetable oil
- 2 red onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp Co-op Fairtrade clear honey
- 1 tbsp Co-op red wine vinegar
- 4 Co-op Irresistible brioche buns
- Iceberg lettuce, to serve
Method
- Grill the burgers according to the pack instructions
- Cover with foil and leave to rest for 5 mins
- Meanwhile, heat the vegetable oil in a small frying pan and add the onions
- Cover and cook over a medium heat for 5 mins, then uncover and cook for 6-8 mins more
- Add the honey and red wine vinegar, then bubble for 2-3 mins, until sticky
- Halve, then lightly toast the buns
- Divide the five cheese sauce, which comes with the burgers, between the buns, top with the burgers and sticky onions, then finish with some iceberg lettuce
